Objectives of this Extractive Areas Remediation Project is to; remove wastes and impacts created by the failure of an older rehabilitation from former mining activities and reshape the area so that the landform blends into the surrounding topography, and the final area is stable and safe for livestock grazing.

Area has become unstable and not fit for purpose due to continued subsidence resulting in an unsafe surface for livestock.
