SA Health requires a software solution to replace its existing Credentialing and Scope of Clinical Practice System, which is an outdated and often inaccurate database that is not able to be upgraded. LHNs and Health Services use Excel spreadsheets to fill the gaps in this system. Procuring a modern credentialing solution is expected to deliver the ability to capture, store and use information required to accurately credential clinicians and identify their clinical scope of practice, while keeping a transparent audit trail of processes to meet compliance standards.
