Horsham Rural City Council invites you to provide a quotation to undertake photographic survey of Council’s Sealed and Unsealed Gravel road network (about 1917 KMs) to provide the digital image record.

The aim of the consultancy is to provide a Digital Image Record (DIR) of the sealed and unsealed gravel road network within Horsham Rural City Council.

The minimum requirement to meet the consultancy is the completion of the following tasks and provision of the following deliverables:

• High-definition images taken every 10m of all sealed and unsealed gravel roads within the Council boundaries.

• Images are to be Geo tagged.

• Date and time of the data capture should be displayed in each of the images.

• Road Roughness data every 10m (Sealed roads only).

• Delivery of the digital data files; and

• Free access to software to allow Council to view the digital files.

Supplied images should not be impacted by sun glare and free from external objects.

The DIR capture must have no restrictions on use including nil ongoing service/software requirements. The contractor should provide the information compatible into GIS platform (MapInfo) or supply a software to access the images that are searchable:

• By street name

• By Asset ID

• By coordinates

The software supplied for above mentioned purpose should not have additional maintenance or subscription costs involved.
