The Missing Links Paths is part of the Active Travel Infrastructure and Maintenance Program aimed at improving pedestrian and cyclist connectivity across Canberra. This initiative seeks to fill critical gaps in the active travel network by constructing reinforced concrete paths at priority sites identified through community feedback and multi-criteria analysis. These missing links address accessibility issues and enhance the usability of Canberra’s walking and cycling routes.

For Package 1 of the Missing Links Paths project, the works being procured include:

1. Construction of Reinforced Concrete Paths at four high-priority sites:

a. Wittenoom Crescent, Stirling: - 70 meters long, 1.5 meters wide concrete path

b. Batchelor Street, Torrens: - 34 meters long, 2 meters wide concrete path

c. Ipima Street: - 5 meters long, 2 meters wide concrete path

d. Wentworth Avenue, Kingston: - 35 meters long, 2 meters wide concrete path

2. Asset Handover and Defects Liability Management, including the submission of Work As Executed (WAE) drawings and handling any arising defects during the operational phase.
