Tender Description
Yarriambiack Shire Council are seeking tenders from suitably qualified contractors (VBA Registration as a Commercial Builder) to undertake all works associated with the design, construction, and installation of a new steel framed shed for Council’s Work Depot site located in Murtoa.
The building is to be designed, constructed and installed to the NCC 2022 and all relevant Australian Standards.
Key Requirements:
Class 7b building, approximately 40m in length, 10m wide and 4m in height with
- Seven roller door access points to a fully enclosed securable area.
- Four Pedestrian access doors are required
- Partially enclosed vehicular parking at one end.
- Stormwater collection and site connection works.
- Commercial grade Colorbond ”steel cladding,” gutters, downpipes, flashings, and trims as required to create a watertight building; (with a pricing option also provided for Zincalume)
- Electrical fit out including connection to mains, power points and lighting
- Excavation for and provision of the concrete footings, reinforcement, and laying of concrete slab.
The maximum budget for this project is $230,000 - $240,000 (excluding GST); Pricing is required to be submitted as an itemised fixed price lump sum, with Council seeking two pricing options, Option 1 – Colorbond and Option 2 – Zincalume.
