Tender Description
The primary foundation for any secure facility is a complex security system, which in part requires locking hardware and configuration, as well as master key and electronic systems. Installation of these systems supports CV in providing a safe and secure environment for the Victorian community
Security Standards Unit (SSU) as a business unit of Corrections Victoria is seeking suppliers who can supply a wide range of generic locking hardware. This hardware is required for the safety, security, and good order of Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) Correctional locations, Youth Justice Correctional facilities and Court Custody areas to ensure both offender and staff safety.
DJCS is seeking this supply of a wide range of generic locking hardware under a panel arrangement with suitable suppliers. The delivery of all generic locking hardware will be to one central location, at Western Plains Correctional Centre, Lara.
For security reasons, a list of specific locking hardware will only be provided to interested parties who complete and return the signed Deed of Confidentiality (Appendix 2 of this document) before the deadline, 2pm Tuesday 17th December 2024. With the intention of tender documents being issued Friday 20th December 2024.
