Project goals

The project goals for Corrective Services Industries (CSI) are:

1. To engage in an open tender process for the transportation of 397 demountable module frames.

2. To transport 80 module frames internally between three correctional centres:

· Cessnock Correctional Centre

· Goulburn Correctional Centre

· St Heliers Correctional Centre

3. To transport 317 module frames to a disposal site for removal.

These goals aim to efficiently relocate and dispose of demountable module frames that are no longer required by CSI, ensuring proper resource management and potentially cost-effective transportation through the open tender process.

Scope

1. Transport 40 Demountable Modules from St Heliers Correctional Centre to Cessnock Correctional Centre.

2. Transport 40 Demountable Modules from Goulburn Correctional Centre to Cessnock Correctional Centre.

3. Pickup 140 Demountable and Transport Module Frames from Cessnock Correctional Centre to a Disposal Site.

4. Pickup 108 Demountable and Transport of Module Frames from Goulburn Correctional Centre to a Disposal Site.

5. Pickup 69 Demountable and Transport Module Frames from St Heliers Correctional Centre to a Disposal Site.

Module Dimensions are 8.9m length, 2.4m Width, 3.3m Height, Approx. 2 Tones, self-load and unload, ensure frame structure is safe for transport and provide evidence of disposal at the nominated waste facility.

Weekly Estimated Transport Volumes to Recycling or Disposal Site

Cessnock Correctional Centre – Thirty (30) modules per week

Goulburn Correctional Centre – Twenty (20) modules per week

St Heliers Correctional Centre - Fifteen (15) modules per week.
