Tender Description
SCOPE OF SERVICES
This schedule provides a summary of the MCC’s service requirements for Pest Control Services. Tenderers should not, however, consider it absolute in its content. Tenderers are encouraged to provide submissions that are innovative and/or suggest efficiencies in the performance of the Services and advise accordingly.
The MCC suggests that Tenderers use the tendering process to better understand various aspects of the MCG, including:
(a) the complexity of the venues
(b) the location of all items and equipment
(c) the nature and frequency of the requirements
(d) the type of materials and equipment required
(e) specific work safe practices and safety issues associated with working at heights, public places, material safety and storage, and other safety issues identified by the Tenderer; and
(f) other factors which may affect the way in which the Services are provided.
The MCC is committed to this open process and will afford time to answer questions, be available for additional inspections and assist Tenderers in ensuring submissions are in line with the MCC’s requirements. It should be noted that Tenderers must refrain from raising questions with the existing contractor. All questions in relation to this Tender must be submitted to the MCC’s Representative.
MCC objectives
The MCC’s mission is to:
(a) manage the MCG as the world's best stadium for all people; and
(b) provide the best services and facilities to its members and patrons.
Core Services
Core Services will include (but not be limited to) the eradication and prevention of vermin (rats and mice), ants, cockroaches and all other pests identified. Tenderers will be expected to be members of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) and or the Australian Environmental Pest Managers Association (AEPMA) and be compliant to a number of standards including ISO 22000 (Food Safety), ISO 14001 (Environment) and AS/NZS 4801 (Occupational Health and Safety).
It is expected that the successful Tenderer will provide a suitable attendance and staffing schedule to be able to perform all required works under the Core Maintenance Services. The successful Tenderer must provide a fixed lump sum price for the Core Maintenance Services.
