Byron Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced parties for the transport and haulage of leachate and associated services, operators and equipment under wet hire arrangements for operation at the Byron Resource Recovery Centre (BRRC), located at 115 The Manse Road, Myocum, NSW. The wet plant is required on an as-needs basis, sometimes at short notice, and the contractor must provide an operator.

Background information / Compatibility requirements

Byron Shire Council operates the Shire’s only existing waste management facility at 110-115 Manse Road, Myocum. The site currently operates as solely a transfer station. Leachate is to be collected from the Myocum Landfill at the BRRC which is transported by the Contractor’s tanker to the West Byron STP located on Bayshore Drive, Byron Bay.
