Tender Description
The State Government has commenced delivering the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Early Childhood Education and Care, which will see South Australia become a national leader in early childhood development, improving the lives of thousands of children. This includes implementing 3-year-old preschool across South Australia from 2026. To support this, the Office for Early Childhood Development (OECD) aims to grow a quality, sustainable early childhood workforce in South Australia, with a particular focus on the workforce needed to deliver 3-year-old preschool.
Innovative and Supported Learning Pathways Program initiatives aim to ensure training programs are accessible, flexible, and effective, and students are comprehensively supported throughout the whole of their study journey. Placement Support initiatives aim to improve placement experiences for students, training providers and early childhood services to support graduates to successfully transition into workplaces.
