Tender Description
The Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS) is seeking tenders for the acquisition and processing of between 150,000 and 350,000 line-km of airborne magnetic and radiometric (AMR) data in the Aileron Region of Western Australia between April 2025 and June 2026. The eventual survey size will depend on tendered prices and the available budget.
Management of the proposed survey contract will be carried out by the Geological Survey of Western Australia (GSWA), a division of DEMIRS. GSWA has a mandate under the government’s Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS) to provide a broad spectrum of geoscience data to encourage exploration and to support general land-use planning. A major component of the EIS is the acquisition of new geophysical data throughout the State at increasing levels of spatial resolution. GSWA is now looking to improve the resolution of its AMR data coverage in the Aileron area.
The Request may be awarded to multiple Contractors, please see Schedule 2 for further information.
Depending on funding availability, prices tendered, survey timing and acquisition rates, it is anticipated that there will be between 150,000 and 350,000 line-km of data acquisition. The survey area outline in
