The Department of Corrections (the Department) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitable organisations to deliver Youth Boot Camps (YBC) for Darwin, Tennant Creek and Alice Springs. This EOI is for Darwin only.

The YBC program aims to provide an additional option to detention for those young people who have been found guilty of an offence and considered eligible for supervised community detention under Division 8 Alternative Detention Orders (ADO) of the Youth Justice Act 2005 (NT).

YBCs will offer structured and supervised community-based interventions, designed to address criminogenic behaviours, promote accountability and reparation, and equip participants with skills to support rehabilitation and reintegration.

This EOI seeks initial responses from the local market to design and deliver an appropriate service model for the YBC. Respondents are to provide their proposed service model ensuring alignment with the objectives, outcomes and requirements provided below. Proposed service models are to be accompanied with an outline of the provider’s experience, capacity and/or expertise.

Respondents may express interest in delivering the program in one or multiple locations. Refer to the Tennant Creek and Alice Springs EOIs in GrantsNT to submit your proposals for those locations. Respondents may partner with other service providers to achieve program deliverables. While broad program deliverables have been provided, a level of innovation is encouraged to achieve program success.
