The Quick Win Physical Works (QWPW) programme is part of the Community Initiated Programme that looks at delivering quick and low-cost infrastructure within the same financial year (typically under $100,000) in response to customer requests. Projects vary greatly in nature ranging including simple signage, road marking, road surface treatments, high friction surfacing, pram crossings and refuge islands, bollards, bus stop hard stands etc.
We are seeking a contractor for Central & South region and a contractor for the North & West region that can deliver a physical works package consisting mostly of minor civil works. The contractor will be expected to carry out basic stakeholder engagement along with maintaining vehicle and pedestrian movements.
This Request for Tender (RFT) is for the following civil works scope:
• Road marking & signage
• Footpath and pram crossings
• Kerb and channel
• Specialist surfacing
• Temporary delineation
As this is part of the Quick Win Physical Works programme, which is more of a reactive approval to infrastructure improvements, there is no specific site, and work packages will be allocated anywhere within the Central/South and North/West regions.
We are looking for contractors who can meet the specifications outlined in the Contract Specifications – Project Specific and Performance Reporting Management documents.
