Key problem/s

The Net Zero Economy Authority (NZEA) is currently sitting within Prime Minister and Cabinet who provide IT services to NZEA. NZEA is due to separate from PM&C early 2025 and therefore will no longer be using PM&C as an IT service provider. At present, PM&C manage the adobe licenses for NZEA staff, post separation NZEA will have to manage this.

The users and their needs

NZEA have approx. 130 staff but will grow to 160 mid 2025. All staff utilise Adobe products. Some teams use more products than others (and multiple instances of the product), for instance our Comms team need access to products such as Photoshop.

Attached is an excel which includes a list of all the products currently assigned to NZEA staff.

I would like to know the indicative annual on-going costs for each of these products and if any of these products can be rolled into a bundle? For instance, my understanding is Adobe Creative Cloud gives you access to multiple Adobe products, so instead of paying $55 (estimated cost) for Adobe Photoshop, you can pay $125 (estimated cost) for Creative Cloud which gives you Photoshop, InDesign etc etc. One other question I have is can these products be added/removed easily under a license? As example, let's say we have an influx of 20-30 staff requiring access to Creative Cloud ASAP, how easy is it to add these products to a license?
