Tender Description
The existing technology within the MCCs, including IT systems, communication devices, and operational software requires an update. This MCC Refresh will ensure requirements continue to be met.
Project goals
Mobile Command Centre ICT Refresh - The primary objective of the MCC upgrade project is to simplify solutions and minimise the risk of device failure, thereby enhancing the reliability and effectiveness of the MCCs in critical situations.
Scope
The project is focused on outsourcing the upgrade of technology and ongoing support of the MCCs to a suitably qualified vendor. It has been noted that whilst this is predominantly focused on the technology itself, consideration and review of technical equipment housing and roof mounted equipment should be provided. Changes to internal room configuration are currently out of scope for this project.
It is imperative that the vendor can demonstrate their capability and experience to add value to FRNSW's emergency management operations. The goal is to establish a partnership that not only meets the current technical and operational needs but also adapts to future challenges and advancements in emergency service technologies.
