Tender Description

Charles Sturt University (CSU) proposes the upgrade of the mechanical services to the Skills Teaching and Clinic building 667 Albury-Wodonga campus.

Tenderers shall also refer to the mechanical scope of works and mechanical specification provided with the invitation to tender documentation to ascertain the full scope of works.

This scope of work includes the decommissioning and removal of redundant roof mounted and internal located plant, assessment of load carrying capacity, alterations and additions to existing plant platforms, external site works and roofing to plant, supply and installation of roof mounted package units with electrically heated hot water boost/standby coils.

The scope also includes air filtration, rebalancing and provision of associated electrical and hydraulic services.

The new mechanical services will be integrated into the campus-wide BMS system including integration of HVAC system control with CSU timetabling/space occupancy systems. HVAC scheduling shall be achieved via integration of all building zones into Charles Sturt's Enterprise Timetable solution utilising the BMIS PG100 SQL to Bacnet Gateway. Local afterhours control shall also be provided.

The upgraded system will provide both cooling and heating functions.

Existing actuators to high level windows shall be decommissioned and removed from BMS control programming.
