The District Council of Grant is the most southern local government area in South Australia. Situated on the South East coast it is bounded to the south and southwest by the Southern Ocean, the Victorian Border to the east and the Wattle Range Council to the north and northwest. The Council encircles the local government area of the City of Mount Gambier. Predominantly rural with a number of small townships, it serves a population of approximately 8,012 comprising of 5,388 rateable properties and covers an area of 190,477 hectares. the area(s) to be serviced;

1. The Port MacDonnell CWMS services in excess of 500 properties providing Wastewater Services to the population and visitors of Port MacDonnell;
2. The CWMS’s main pipeline back haul is now at maximum capacity and extra capacity is required to continue to meet the Service, Health and Safety needs of the community;
3. A concept design to facilitate the growing needs has been developed;
4. Provision of a Detailed / Construction Design is required for the next stage.

The Council intends to enter into an Agreement for these Services with the successful Tenderer.
