ABOUT MURRUMBIDGEE PRIMARY HEALTH NETWORK

Firsthealth is federally funded to deliver the Primary Heath Network program across the Murrumbidgee region. Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) is one of 31 local and independent PHNs established nationally to support the primary healthcare sector and improve health outcomes, particularly for people at risk of poorer health outcomes. We deliver the PHN program across approximately 126,000 square kilometres to more than 250,000 people living in our 508 communities.

With the person at the centre of care, we plan and deliver programs to ensure the needs of our individual local communities inform our approaches. We achieve this by working with our community and partners to:

- Coordinate local services and systems to improve coordination of care.

- Commission primary health services to meet population health needs with a focus on access and equity.

- Support capacity-building to ensure sustainable healthcare workforce through quality improvement, professional development and other innovative measures.

ABOUT THIS REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)

The Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) is committed to advancing community-based suicide prevention and postvention activities through a regional approach that aligns with identified local needs and best practice. As part of this effort, MPHN is commissioning the development of a Murrumbidgee Suicide Prevention Toolkit for Community.

The Toolkit will provide community members, groups, organisations, and stakeholders with practical resources, essential information, and evidence-based guidance to build their capacity to deliver effective suicide prevention and postvention activities, tailored to their local context.

OPPORTUNITY ON OFFER

MPHN are seeking proposals from suitably experienced consultants to develop a Murrumbidgee Suicide Prevention Toolkit for Community.

Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network is not bound to accept the lowest priced Proposal or all or any part of a Proposal and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Proposal process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit. Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network's staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to this Request for Proposals. Late proposals will not be accepted.
