Tender Description
Tauranga City Council invites tenders for this contract for which the works/services comprise:
• External structural strengthening works including roof ring beam.
• Internal structural strengthening works including floor ring beam and internal floor slab overlay.
• Internal wall stitch joint bandage system replacement and surface coatings.
• Beam/column roof support bracket installation.
• Replacement of the internal access ladder and handrails with new ladder and platform.
• General maintenance including concrete crack repairs and joint sealant replacements.
• Upgrade of the overflow internal pipe work.
• Upgrade of the inlet pipe external valves and flexible joints.
• Upgrade of the outlet pipework and valve chamber to allow for a future new outlet main.
• Installation of a vortex inhibitor on the outlet.
• External stormwater drainage.
• Removal and reinstallation of any surface mounted items on the reservoir and within the reservoir site (e.g. Temporary fencing) to enable works.
• Testing of the overall watertightness and commissioning of the completed installation.
