ABOUT THIS TENDER:

Each year The City of Coffs Harbour (CoCH) and Bellingen Shire Council(BSC) (both referred herein as the "Principal" ) require the use of a variety of Hired Plant and Equipment at various locations throughout their Local Govt Areas(LGA). Both Councils utilise similar Contractors and therefore are collaborating to strategically manage their Plant and Equipment hire services through a combined Panel Arrangement Contract that will be available to both Councils, to source hired services from

The Principal is seeking Tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced Contractors who would like to be considered for this Panel Arrangement contract, who are able to offer to either or both Councils, the hire of Plant and Equipment, utilising a Schedule of Rates.

The Panel contract will be for an initial period of three (3) years with an option to extend a further two (2) x twelve (12) month periods at the sole discretion of the Principal prior to the anniversary of the end of the initial period

ABOUT THE CITY OF COFFS HARBOUR and BELLINGEN SHIRE COUNCIL:

Coffs Harbour and Bellingen are positioned halfway between Sydney and Brisbane, Coffs Harbour is on the coast and Bellingen is just south of Coffs Harbour.

Coffs Harbour is a thriving regional coastal city of approximately 78,000 people and enjoys a unique lifestyle created by its geography and climate. Nestled between coastal slopes of the Great Dividing Range and the 80 kilometres of golden beaches that form its boundaries Coffs Harbour has gained a reputation as a dynamic and rapidly expanding economic hub.

Bellingen Shire has a total area of 1,605 square kilometres with a coastline of approximately 10km. The region is renowned for its ecological diversity with State Forests and National Parks covering over 53% of the local government area.

The shire consists of three broad topographical areas incorporating the seaboard around Mylestom, Repton and Urunga, the valleys of the Bellinger and Kalang rivers and the Dorrigo plateau landscapes. Each has its own characteristics and provides a choice in cultural and natural diversity
