Tender Description

City of Port Adelaide Enfield ABN 68 399 090 894 (the Principal) invites persons (Tenderers) to submit offers (Tenders) to undertake the works under the form of the contract in PART 6 of this Request for Tender (RFT) (the Contract, which includes the documents in PARTS 7 and 8 (respectively the Specifications and Drawings)). Duncan Fraser Reserve, located in the suburb of Northfield, is a dynamic multi-use community facility that caters to the sporting needs of the local community, offering facilities for football and cricket, as well as open space and playgrounds for the local community.

The clubroom facilities at Duncan Fraser Reserve have, in recent years, been upgraded as part of the masterplan for the reserve. The upgrade of the changeroom facilities and public toilets is the last part of the masterplan project. The Northgate Community and Sports Club runs the community facility at Duncan Fraser Reserve which is open 7 days per week. The Gepps Cross Football and Cricket Clubs have seen significant growth with over 600 participants. The clubs offer opportunities for both football and cricket, providing a range of options for participants of all skill levels. The Club has seen significant growth in recent years and now has very strong participation across both sports.

This project development includes, but not limited to, the following:

• Changeroom facilities to include:

  • 4 x change rooms and amenities
  • Umpire's rooms
  • 2 x medical rooms
  • 3 x storage rooms
  • Temporary changerooms and ablutions

• Gym

• Canteen

• Public Toilets Staging (including early infrastructure works) is critical for this project, with the existing Northgate Community and Sports Club building to remain operational and occupiable throughout the partial demolition of the existing building and the entire construction period of the new building. The successful Contractor will need to understand the commercial operational requirements of the Northgate Community and Sports Club and be responsible for ensuring all building services are redirected and maintained to avoid downtime to the existing building, and to allow clear access to the building, oval, carpark and cricket nets at all times.
