Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Optimising avocado yield with region-specific canopy management: insights from light interception and canopy modelling (AV24011).

The overall objective of the services are to undertake a literature review centering on developing a light interception models, synthesising current knowledge of computer generated light interception and canopy models in avocado, as well as other perennial tree crops, as a key validation step for the next phase of a larger project: creating a canopy and light interception model for avocado, that is able to generate region-specific pruning recommendations to maximise avocado yields through canopy management.

Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
