The general maintenance of Auckland's rail infrastructure is crucial to ensure the network operates efficiently and safely. Maintaining station facilities, controlling vegetation, and managing graffiti on rail assets are essential for preserving the integrity and appearance of the network, promoting passenger safety, and enhancing the overall travel experience.

Auckland One Rail (AOR) is seeking a Supplier to deliver a maintenance solution encompassing general maintenance of rail infrastructure, asset repairs, vegetation control, and graffiti removal across stations and other network assets. The Supplier will be responsible for a mix of planned preventative maintenance and reactive services, all of which must be carried out to a high standard of safety and efficiency, minimising any impact on daily rail operations.

This RFP invites proposals from Suppliers with the capability to implement a maintenance program that incorporates real-time reporting to track progress and address issues within specified timeframes.

Proposals must also demonstrate the Supplier's ability to effectively respond to urgent requests, particularly those impacting safety, while consistently maintaining quality and compliance with industry regulations.

Although the incumbent contract has the three specialities bundled, AOR are open to de-bundling and therefore will accept proposals from Suppliers that are able to provide any of the services individually (general maintenance, vegetation control and graffiti management).
