Tenders are invited for the provision of design and plans for renovation at Uralba Hostel, Gundagai, following a successful grant funding application under the Aged Care Capital Assistance Program Residential-based Aged Care Service.

Uralba Hostel is excited to have received a grant to assist the organisation to remain up to date and continue to provide a high level of care to all the residents. Uralba requires an Architect and Engineer to assist with the first stage of plans for renovation and improvements of the facility.

The scope of works required includes renovation to existing building to improve care and service to all residents, without interruption to the day-to-day running of the facility and in keeping with the safety of staff, residents and families.

The plan required will need to facilitate an extended kitchen, office, staffroom, high care room, renovation of bathrooms and outdoor areas.

The nominated Architect and Engineer will be notified in mid-February. This will assist with meeting our first milestone in what will be a great asset to our community
