Tender Description
The provision of technical, operational and investor relationship support for DFAT’s management of IDIG requires the supplier to:
- Have existing strong relationships with Australian impact investors, including family offices and philanthropic foundations.
- Leverage their existing relationships with Australian impact investors and knowledge of their investment strategies and preferences.
- Foster strong connections between DFAT and IDIG members, with the aim of DFAT managing these relationships independently once they are established and DFAT is positioned to maintain them.
- Support the curation of new IDIG memberships.
- Assist DFAT to understand investor mandates, strategies, capabilities, and decision-making processes to facilitate targeted deal matching.
- Identify innovative ways to catalyse IDIG members' investments in climate, gender, and development outcomes in the Indo-Pacific.
- Identify relevant investments in DFAT’s blended finance pipeline, for alignment with investor preferences.
- Facilitate sharing of deal due diligence and relevant information with IDIG members as co-investment opportunities emerge.
- Support IDIG operations, including convening meetings, curating agendas for bi-annual member meetings, speaker series, informal engagements to promote investment and potential study tour.
- Prepare communications products for an investor audience (case studies, explainers on DFAT’s blended finance portfolio, bi-monthly newsletter, presentations)
- Build DFAT’s investor engagement and blended finance capability through presentations and other communications.
- Contribute to IDIG’s Theory of Change and monitoring and evaluation.
- Provide ad hoc deal structuring advice and potential deal facilitation.
- Prepare, in consultation with DFAT, annual schedules of activities and operational guidance, including roles, secretariat resourcing, budget, and ways of working.
