Council is seeking submissions from suitably qualified Veterinary Services to provide a Veterinary Service to the Campaspe Animal Shelter (CAS)

The Campaspe Animal Centre (CAS) is located at 530 McKenzie Road, Echuca, Victoria. The facility is currently owned and operated by the Campaspe Shire Council as a consolidated pound and animal shelter for the purposes of the Domestic Animals Act 1994. The CAS will transition from a consolidated pound and shelter to a pound only service in mid to late 2025.

CAS provides a range of services relating to the management of cats and dogs including:

• Care for lost or stray animals
• Reunification of lost animals with owners
• Rehoming of animals (adoption)
• Animal Health management
• Animal enrichment
• Impoundment of dangerous animals

A non-compulsory site visit will be held at the Campaspe Animal Shelter - 530 McKenzie Road, Echuca, at 2 pm 21 January 2025
