SCOPE

The contract provides for the completion of mitigation works by competent licensed operators (the Plant Hire Contractor) including:

1. Fire break maintenance

2. Fire break installation

3. Forestry mulching

4. Chemical Spraying

The mitigation works require the supply of materials, equipment and operators including:

• machinery operators,

• fuel,

• servicing,

• mobilisation and demobilisation,

• Required materials and products,

• registration and licensing, and

• accommodation and meals.

NON-COMPULSORY SITE MEETING

The Principal does not intend to hold a Tender Site Meeting. However, tenderers must make sure to fully inform themselves as to the scope of work and the requirements before submitting a tender.
