Tender Description
The City of Cockburn (The Principal) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor for the inspection, testing, preventative maintenance, repair and replacement of fire detection, suppression and evacuation systems and equipment in accordance with relevant Australian Standards.
This includes Cockburn Aquatic and Recreation Centre (Cockburn ARC) at Cockburn Central, Port Coogee Marina and the City’s operations vehicle fleet.

Tenderers are to note this list is to be used as a guide only and additions, amendments and deletions to this list may occur during the period of the proposed Contract.
The Specification is to be read in the context it is written and will be the basis upon which the Contractor is to achieve an acceptable standard and level of service.
The Contractor: under the proposed Contract, will be required to provide all labour, plant, tools and equipment, materials, transportation/cartage, administrative costs, travelling expenses etc. and anything else necessary for the completion of the works/services.
The proposed Contract shall be in place for a period of five (5) years from the date of award; with Principal instigated options to extend the period for a subsequent two (2) year period and up to an additional one (1) year after that, to a maximum of eight (8) years.

Mandatory Site Briefing:
Attendance at this meeting is mandatory.
Failure to attend this briefing will render the Tenderer ineligible to submit a Tender.
Tenderers are required to attend a Tender briefing on:
Thursday, 16 January 2025 from 10:30am to 11:30am (AWST)
The location of the meeting is at:
City of Cockburn Operations Centre, Wellard Street, Bibra Lake WA.
The briefing will provide Tenderers with the opportunity to clarify any uncertainties with the Principal prior to the closing of the Tender.

Note: A online site induction is required upon arrival at the operations centre - Attendees are to ensure they arrive early enough to complete.
All attendees will be required to sign an acknowledgement register of attendance
