SCOPE
Indigo Shire Council are seeking a suitably qualified contractor to remove existing old guard fence and install new sections of MASH TL3 Flexible W-Beam (FWB) guard fence at three separate locations along Indigo Creek Road.
Supply of the FWB guard fence products will be by Council following a separate procurement process to select a supplier of approved FWB and G.R.E.A.T. terminals (which has been completed). Guard fence is currently stored at Council’s Yackandandah Depot.
BACKGROUND
The sites in question require replacement due to age of the guards. The guard fence will be installed close to the top of batter hinge point which is why some 1m post spacings have been specified in certain locations to reduce dynamic deflection.
