Orange City Council is seeking proposals from suitably qualified consultants to prepare an Open Space and Recreation Strategy and Implementation Plan.

The Open Space and Recreation Strategy and Implementation Plan ("the Strategy") is to provide the evidence base to support the ongoing planning of Orange's public open space and recreation network.

The Strategy is to provide policies and actions that can support Council in the preparation of development contributions plans, negotiating planning agreements, and provide an implementation plan that can inform Council's Delivery and Operational Plans. The Strategy will update and replace the existing City of Orange Recreation Needs Study (2008) and the Draft City of Orange Recreation Needs Study - Review (2011).
