Tender Description

The Western Australia Police Force is seeking offers for the supply of two vertical storage systems with post warranty service and maintenance for the Property Receivals and Exhibit Storage Section (PRESS) of the Property Management Division (PMD) located at 95-97 Belmont Avenue, Belmont, Western Australia.

The systems will replace two existing Kardex systems that require decommissioning and disposal. A staggered installation and decommissioning process is required as follows:

  • Contractor to install the first unit on the eastern side of the complex (floor space has already been allocated/cleared).
  • PRESS to transfer the property/exhibits from the two existing Kardex systems into the new unit.
  • Contractor to decommission and dispose both empty Kardex systems.
  • Contractor to install the second unit in the footprint of the decommissioned system.

In the event that PRESS relocates to a new premises during the Term of the Head Agreement, the Contractor may also be required to relocate both systems to the new premises.

Site Visit

A site visit will be held at 95-97 Belmont Avenue, Belmont on 3 February 2025 9:30 AM.

The Respondent is requested to confirm its attendance by no later than 2:00 PM, Western Australia on Thursday 30 January 2025 by email to zoie.grant@finance.wa.gov.au.

A tour will be provided to show Respondents the two existing Kardex systems that require decommissioning and disposal, the installation sites for the two new systems, and access and parking availability.

Attendance is at the prospective Respondent?s own expense. Please note that a maximum of two personnel per prospective Respondent will be permitted to attend due to security requirements. Please also note attendees will not be permitted to take photographs and/or video recording.

Once you have found street parking, please progress to the entry door, push the doorbell and wait for someone to respond.
