The Hills Shire Council wishes to engage the service of a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake the installation of a truss rig and lighting equipment for Council’s Administration Building C glass atrium. The work for the project is outlined within the scope of works and specifications along with the limit of works illustrated in the attached plans and drawings.

Project Background

The Hills Shire Council owns and operates the section of Building C, which is adjacent to Windsor Road. The upgrade of the lighting equipment and truss installation will eliminate the ongoing hire and labour costs to display seasonal community initiatives within the glass atrium.

Other significant benefits include upgrading the door system which will improve the security access in the glass atrium and upgrading the ventilation system to reduce ambient temperatures in support of the new lighting equipment.

Works that are undertaken will be done so at an appropriate time to minimise disruption to the use of the medical centre, THSC staff and general public. It is anticipated that this project is to be completed within this financial year 2024/25.
