Project goals

The Contractor must be prequalified with Transport for NSW under the National Prequalification System for Civil (Road and Bridge) Construction Contracts for prequalification class (or higher) of R3, B4 and F150; and

The principal design organisation must be registered with Transport for NSW under the Technical Services Registration Scheme for Complex Bridge Design and Complex Road Design.

The successful tenderer will be selected through a two-phase procurement process. The first phase requires applicants to submit an EOI in response to this advertisement. A shortlist of applicants will then be selected from this EOI process and invited to tender for the work.

The EOI documents and further details related to the EOI process are available only via the project data room. To gain access to the project data room for the EOI stage, prospective applicants will need to complete, sign and return the confidentiality deed to the email address: NRBS2_procurement@transport.nsw.gov.au (in accordance with the instructions in that deed) prior to being given the passcode to access the EOI documents.

The project data room will be available for access on 20 January 2025.

An EOI briefing will be held at 11am (AEDT) on 29 January 2025 via MS Teams. Attendance is not mandatory to submit a conforming Application.

Scope

Key features of the New Richmond Bridge Stage 2 project include:

• a new bridge and active transport connection over the Hawkesbury River between Richmond and North Richmond;

• a new two-lane bypass south of Richmond town centre

• intersection upgrades and modifications to the local road network.
