The Victorian Department of Education (’the department’) is seeking suitably qualified and experienced parties to deliver the Early Intervention Program (EIP) to select cohorts of employees.

The EIP is a responsive initiative that aims to provide selected school staff (who are at risk of mental or physical injury) with early support for emerging health and wellbeing risks to prevent them from escalating into more serious health concerns, and to reduce the number of lost hours to workers compensation by providing early access to treatment.

The program helps mobilise appropriate professional supports, referral mechanisms, resources and tools for principals that can assist with the restoration of their health and wellbeing. program focuses on a holistic model of health and wellbeing to help ensure more sustainable health outcomes over time. The EIP service links to the Safe and Well in Education Strategy - the department's roadmap to systematically enhance and support health, safety and wellbeing outcomes for all employees.

The proposed contract will be for up to five (5) years - 3 Year initial engagement with two 12-month options to extend
