The Australian Government is inviting Mutitjulu Community Aboriginal Corporation via a one-off ad hoc process to apply to deliver services under the Program Strengthening Families and Communities Partnership in the Outcome 2 – Families and Communities area from financial year 2024 to 2025.

The SFC Local Solutions Fund – Mutitjulu grant opportunity will strengthen family and community safety through place-based initiatives that support First Nations family and community safety. Funding will be used for minor infrastructure safety measures such as building a fence around the Mutitjulu recreation hall and installing closed-circuit television to improve security. Funding is intended to support cultural, health and wellbeing and social activities for the whole community. Funding can contribute to support services including youth and social support, recreation, community connection and food security activities working collaboratively with the current Community Safety Program in Mutitjulu. This aims to address key challenges like food security and social isolation and provide support programs to the community with a focus on youth and their engagement in the community.

To be eligible to receive a grant, you must be the invited organisation listed in section 4.1 of the guidelines and have received a Letter of Invitation with Acceptance to apply.
