The Australian Government is inviting the Central Australian Aboriginal Family Law Unit (CAAFLU) and the Central Australian Women’s Legal Service (CAWLS) via a one-off ad hoc process to apply to deliver services under the Strengthening Families and Communities – Community Outreach grant opportunity. This initiative is under the Strengthening Families and Communities Partnership in the Outcome 2 – Families and Communities area from 2024 to 2027.

The Strengthening Families and Communities – Community Outreach grant opportunity will provide funding to support a range of initiatives supporting family and community safety, including integrated community justice partnerships, increased outreach services for legal representation, and community legal education. This grant opportunity is designed to facilitate the delivery of culturally appropriate, targeted strategies to prevent and address community safety and family safety in remote Central Australia.

Eligibility:

To be eligible to receive a grant, you must be one of the listed invited organisations in Section 4.1 of the guidelines and have received an invitation to apply.
