Tender Description

The development for the plaza at McLaren Parade represents a significant step in addressing the findings of our Open Space Strategy 2021–2026. It also provides a landing location for the new pedestrian bridge cross the Port River connecting the new developments. The works include the removal of the existing carpark and construction of new open space. The following key features will form part of the new plaza:

• Improved walking and cycling access

• Seating, shade structure, trees, lawn, and landscaping

• Informal play area

• Pedestrian and festoon lighting

• Some on street carparking
