VU is seeking to purchase modular Metabolic Carts that can be moved around to precisely measure the oxygen inhaled and the carbon dioxide exhaled during rest, after meals, and during certain exercises. The cart can contain an analyser, an interface box to convert analogue information into digital for display, a Pneumatic – Flow sensor, a Sensor box to measure humidity and temperature, a Flow control pump, a Dryer box and a Mixing chamber. It can also have an intuitive user interface built-in and provide fast accurate data reporting.
