DCJ will issue an Expression of Interest to identify suppliers who can provide a managed learning services system, manage subcontracting & relationships, & handle all administrative tasks for training
Project goals
The Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS) is the NSW government’s primary response to homelessness, aimed at supporting individuals who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The SHS Learning and Development Program provides training to SHS staff to ensure they can effectively support these individuals. The training encompasses a wide range of topics, including SHS induction, leadership skills, Aboriginal cultural competency, case management, trauma-informed care, mental health, domestic and family violence, substance abuse, child protection, and youth homelessness.
The issuance of the EOI marks the first stage of the multi-stage procurement process. The EOI responses will be assessed against the evaluation criteria, to assist the Department forming the next procurement strategy.
Scope
To identify a shortlist of qualified suppliers who can deliver the administrative functions of the SHS Learning and Development Program. Key requirements include compliance with relevant privacy and security regulations, such as ISO 27001 and applicable NSW and Australian Federal laws, including the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act (NSW 1998) and the Privacy Act (Cth 1988).
The key administrative functions required for the SHS Learning and Development program includes:
a) Provision of an online portal (such as an Event Management System) to enable staff to book/waitlist training.
b) Subcontracting and management of training providers for delivery of DCJ approved SHS training.
c) Comprehensive administration support in delivering both virtual and face-to-face trainings, including but not limited to venue booking, cancellations, reporting, training logistics fulfilment.
