The Tuparikino Active Community Hub (TACH) is a proposed multi-sport and active recreation community facility to be developed in the heart of New Plymouth's recreation precinct. This transformative project has been developed through a collaborative partnership between mana whenua Ngati Tuparikino and Ngati Te Whiti, alongside Sport Taranaki and the New Plymouth District Council (NPDC). Each partner brings a unique perspective and expertise to the project.

NPDC are seeking a Civils contractor to complete water, wastewater, stormwater, retaining wall, bulk excavation and carpark construction works. The project will be completed in three phases - identified as Phase 1.1, 1.2 & 1.3. A detailed design has been completed for Phase 1.1, with preliminary designs available for Phases 1.2 & 1.3. Contractors will need to price all 3 phases noting that not all the detail for Phase 1.2 and Phase 1.3 is available at the time of this tender.
