UTS seeks to establish a Panel of credentialed and predominantly Sydney-based suppliers with the capability, experience, and capacity to meet its Testing Services requirements. The purpose of the Panel is to provide UTS with an efficient mechanism for ordering services from preferred suppliers in a manner that is agile and efficient, appropriately competitive and that offers value-for-money procurement through a probity-rich and transparent framework.

UTS has traditionally engaged Test personnel as direct contactors on a project-by-project basis. UTS is moving away from a model where most large work is completed by project Teams, to a SAFe Agile model, with Test professionals embedded in cross-functional Agile Teams. At the same time, UTS is establishing a Test Chapter, under a Test Chapter Lead, made up of 14 permanent Test professionals to service those cross-functional Agile Teams.
