The 2025 Cultivating Excellence: Leading HSIE Expertise Head Teacher Conference attracts Year 7-10 Head teachers, leaders and subject matter experts to enhance HSIE Education in NSW.

Project goals

The department has tailored the Leading HSIE Expertise Head Teacher Conference to empower head teachers and faculty leaders and provide them with opportunities to:

• enhance leadership skills for head teachers in HSIE Education, particularly to the new syllabus.
• equip head teachers with resources and strategies for the successful implementation of mandatory Geography fieldwork and History site studies.
• foster collaboration and networking among head teachers to share best practices in HSIE Education.
• access valuable insights and resources to support in preparing for teaching HSIE 7–10 syllabuses
• Explore quality assessment and programming, explicit teaching and more.

This conference offers sponsors and industry supporters the opportunity to:

• engage with HSIE teachers from across NSW
• create brand awareness
• access valuable insights into your target audience.

Scope

Organisations are invited to express interest in contributing cash or value-in-kind sponsorship contributions for the 2024 Leading HSIE Expertise Head Teacher Conference.
