OVERVIEW

The Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC) is intending to release a Request for Tender (RFT) in April 2025 and is seeking Expressions of Interest for Line Marking for the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix events (Event), to be held at Albert Park, Melbourne (Site) from 2026 onwards.

EVENT

The Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix event is held over a four-day period, typically in March/April each year.

Construction of infrastructure to facilitate the Event is carried out over a 12 week build period in accordance with a strict Construction Programme, with dismantle beginning immediately following the Event. Full dismantle is required within four weeks of the Event.

SCOPE OF WORKS

The Line Marking scope includes but is not limited to:

• preliminaries, including provision of own Site facilities;
• transportation from AGPC’s storage yard, unpacking and repacking AGPC owned containers and equipment;
• preparation and implementation of externally accredited Quality Systems;
• preparation and implementation of a Contractor HS&E Plan;
• preparation and implementation of detailed works programmes;
• inventory control, including submission of a list of additional materials if required and a detailed inventory upon delivery and packing of containers including the quantity, condition and location of all assets, where applicable to the Works;
• cooperation and coordination with other Contractors;
• continuously monitor and maintain installed Works; and
• continuously keep the Site and Albert Park Reserve clean of construction and general debris.

Line Marking:

• blacking out of existing road regulatory line marking pre-event;
• painting of circuit FIA approved line marking (corner edge lines twice);
• reinstatement of road regulatory line marking post event;
• removal and reinstatement of erasable brunswick green paint on kerbs;
• golf course car park line marking;
• event Management office (EMO) car park line marking;
• helicopter pad line marking including guide lines; and
• annual maintenance & testing of Vezzani paint machine.
