Tender Description
The City of Cockburn (the Principal) is seeking a suitably licensed and experienced Contractor for the provision of Static Security Services, outside of standard business hours, for the Cockburn Aquatic & Recreation Centre (Cockburn ARC). The Principal requires static security services at Cockburn ARC to create a safe and secure environment for its customers and staff.
To deliver this the Contractor will be required to deliver the duties and responsibilities detailed in the scope of services and on an ad hoc basis, additional security services may be requested from time to time for other service areas within the City of Cockburn.
All services shall be executed to the satisfaction of the Principal’s Representative in strict accordance with the Contract, this Specification, and the Contracted Schedule of Rates along with any work instruction issued by the Principal’s Representative.
The Specification is to be read in the context it is written and will be the basis upon which the Contractor is to achieve an acceptable standard and level of service.
The proposed Contract shall be in force for a period of three (3) years from the date of contract award, with a Principal instigated option to extend the contract for a one (1) year period and up to a further twelve (12) months; to a maximum of five (5) years.
The Contract is expected to commence in March 2025.

TENDER BRIEFING/ SITE INSPECTION - MANDATORY
Attendance at this meeting is mandatory.
Failure to attend this briefing will render the Tenderer ineligible to submit a Tender.
Tenderers are required to attend a Tender briefing on:
Wednesday, 12 February 2025 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm (AWST).
The location of the meeting is at:
Cockburn ARC, 31 Veterans Parade Cockburn Central
The briefing will provide Tenderers with the opportunity to clarify any uncertainties with the Principal prior to the closing of the Tender.

All attendees will be required to sign an acknowledgement register of attendance.
