The Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC) is intending to release a Request for Tender (RFT) in April 2025 and is seeking Expressions of Interest for the provision of Event Labour for the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix events (Event), to be held at Albert Park, Melbourne (Site) from 2026 onwards.

EVENT

The Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix event is held over a four-day period, typically in March/April each year.

Construction of infrastructure to facilitate the Event is carried out over a 12 week build period in accordance with a strict Construction Programme, with dismantle beginning immediately following the Event. Full dismantle is required within four weeks of the Event.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

The Event Labour services scope includes, but is not limited to:

• preliminaries, including provision of own site facilities;
• transportation (where nominated within the contract), unpacking, and repacking AGPC owned containers and equipment;
• miscellaneous works as directed by the Superintendent to be carried out by general event labour personnel completed on a time plus material basis including but not limited to:
• provide a 'runner service' for pickups and deliveries as required;
• general rubbish removal and cleaning;
• installation and removal of miscellaneous shade cloth;
• installation, maintenance and removal of orange mesh fencing;
• installation, maintenance and removal of bunting;
• movement of furniture and other items;
• installation, maintenance and rectification of various signage;
• placement and removal of steel cover plates over sprinklers and sprinkler boxes;
• install and remove rope and post fencing around classic car display and where instructed by the Superintendent;
• deployment, movement and removal of crowd control barriers in Formula 1 Pit Lane, track barrier openings and as instructed by the Superintendent; and
• unpack from container, deliver to Marshal Point locations around track, install, remove and repack neatly into container Marshal covers and stands.
