Tender Description
Protection works
• Dilapidation survey.
• Install site protections to monuments, plaques, adjacent surfaces, urns, services and all other items which are to remain.
• Remove and retain existing benches on footpaths for reinstallation at completion of the works.
• Temporary isolation of services.
Footpaths
• Demolish existing asphalt footpath.
• Demolish existing lighting along the existing footpath.
• Hydro-excavate trenches for new footpath, drainage and new services.
• Install new electrical conduits and new light poles including new footings.
• Install new agricultural drain, pit drain and replace existing strip drains.
• Lay new asphalt footpath with perimeter spoon drain.
Balustrades
• Demolish existing balustrades around the Memorial Cross and localised demolition of paving and garden bed to allow balustrade removal.
• Fabricate and install new galvanised and painted steel balustrades.
• Undertake site welding and paint touch ups as required.
Signage
• Demolition of redundant signage.
• Supply and installation of new wayfinding and safety signage.
