Strathbogie Shire Council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified and experienced consultants for the detail design development of the public lighting installation component of the proposed crossing point upgrade on Violet Town Cowslip Street under the streetscape upgrades.

The project includes the following Scope:

1. Concerned areas are 4 crossing bubbles at Cowslip Steet

2. New lighting design shall be in accordance with DoTP guidelines, applicable Australian Standards (including AS/NZS 12158) and Ausnet requirements as applicable

3. Scope of work:

a. preliminary lighting design followed by an assessment of current lighting conditions, meeting above requirements

b. Detailed Design Ausnet and DoTP approval

c. Construction issue drawings with applicable specifications

4. Above work to be completed within 4 weeks of quote acceptance.

Tenderers are referred to the specification document for full Project Scope requirements.

Tenderers are advised that Schedules for this RFQ will be required to be completed via online forms only.

Prices quoted are to be INCLUSIVE of GST. Tenderers are encouraged to check Quoted pricing, as NO changes to Quoted pricing will be accepted after the RFQ closing date.

A Contract is provided for Tenderers to view. Tenderers wanting Contract exclusions must request these via online Schedules as part of their tender submission. If no exclusions or changes to contract provisions have been requested, it is assumed that tenderers have accepted Contract provisions. Strathbogie Shire will not negotiate Contract provisions after award has occurred.

Strathbogie Shire works within Procurement Best Practice guidelines. All questions MUST be directed in writing through the online portal. Please do not ring the Council, as we are unable to discuss formal tenders or quotations while open. Tenderer questions close three days prior to tender close.

Tenders can be only lodged on line through the Tendersearch portal. Please note Strathbogie Shire no longer accepts hardcopy formal Quotations or Tenders and will not accept tenders by fax or email. It is Strathbogie Shire's policy not to accept Quotations or Tenders received after the specified closing time.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSIONS:

Strathbogie Shire advises that failure to supply a LUMP SUM price - including GST, (to be entered in Section 7 of online schedules) will result in your tender not being evaluated.

• All Tender/Quotation Schedules must be completed in order for the submission to be evaluated. You must allow sufficient time to upload your submission prior to the 4pm deadline. We suggest you familiarise yourself with the online form and uploading options via the RESPONSE tab.

• Late submissions in any format will not be accepted. If you are midway through your submission and the clock hits 4:00pm your submission will not be accepted and you will be unable to continue.

• We recommend you access a good quality network/internet connection.

• All communications regarding the submission must be via the Tendersearch using the Questions tab.
