Electrical Maintenance services is a contract for regulatory preventative maintenance and reactive discretionary maintenance of Hydro Tasmania's Hobart metropolitan sites, and regional Derwent Valley sites, being the Tarraleah and Wayatinah villages, Strathgordon area facilities and Waddamana Museum.

Hydro Tasmania is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake both regulatory preventative maintenance and reactive discretionary maintenance at those sites.

Respondents are requested to provide a fixed price for the regulatory inspections, routine servicing and preventative maintenance (that price will be subject to variation based on the outcome of the initial audit by the successful contractor, which will include adding equipment for Cambridge and Waddamana Museum which are currently not included in the Equipment Schedule). In addition, a complete rate card should be provided for electrical works undertaken beyond the regulatory requirements.

A pre-tender Teams briefing is scheduled for Wednesday 12th February at 2PM. This is intended to outline requirements in broad terms and to give Respondents a chance to ask questions about the scope etc.

There is also a scheduled site visit at the main office building at 4 Elizabeth St, Hobart at 10am on 14th February 2025 (Please arrive 10 minutes early for check in). This will provide an opportunity to view assets of largest facility.
