Wellington Shire Council is seeking to establish a panel of preferred recruitment agencies to support the sourcing and employment of temporary and contract staff across various roles within the Council.

This three-year contract, with the option for two one-year extensions at Council’s discretion, aims to engage agencies that can provide cost-effective, efficient, and reliable staffing solutions. Successful agencies must demonstrate their ability to supply qualified candidates within required timeframes, conduct thorough background and reference checks, and verify candidate skills, qualifications, and experience.

The evaluation process will assess proposals based on value for money, industry expertise, relevant experience, and broader community benefits, ensuring a high-quality and responsive workforce solution while supporting local economic and employment opportunities.
