Tender Description

The Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) Local Government Area (LGA) covers some 9884 square kilometres and has an estimated population of approximately 60,000. The major business centre is Tamworth, located approximately 400 kilometres north-west of Sydney on the Peel River. The electrical equipment is at end of life and the SPS is at risk of flooding during extreme rain events. To reduce the risk to TRC and the Community, The switchboard is to be upgraded and located on a platform outside the pump station building.

After the switchboard has been successfully commissioned, the existing building on top of the dry well is to be demolished, all materials are removed and the opening to the dry well to have a new access hatch with 4-side void protection (fall prevention device) and ladder installed.

The scope of works includes the complete design (IFC and shop drawings), manufacturer, supply, Installation, testing and commissioning of all equipment included within the contract documentation and detailed within the Specification.

TRC are seeking tenders from established and proven suppliers for the provision design and construct services at Cooper St Barraba SPS as more fully described in the Contract Documents.
